AV Technologies Group is owned and operated by Seth Gatewood, an Audio Video and Home Theater expert with more than 15 years of experience working with Consumer Electronics, who specializes in the Design, Installation, Management, and Maintenance of Home Theaters and Media Rooms, Distributed Audio and Video, Lighting Control, and Whole Home Systems Integration.
During his pre-teen years, Seth first became interested in electronics after receiving an Electronics Project Lab Kit where he began learning about electronic parts, schematics, wiring diagrams, and circuits, and his interest later evolved into hi-fi audio. He was hooked!
Professionally, Seth began his electronics career as an Alarm Installation and Service Technician and shortly thereafter changed direction to Home Theater, Audio, Automation and Lighting Control. Seth worked for several years managing the Audio Video department for a specialist in Houston, TX - then relocated to take a lead position for one of the top Home Automation companies in the US. Here Seth and utilized his skills by implementing his own techniques to improve systems design, installation, and maintenance of industry recognized - award-winning systems. Seth's focus with AV Technologies Group is to enable homeowners of all economical status the liesure of electronics convenience and entertainment in their home.
